The University of Rhode Island Climate Change Collaborative and Rhode Island Sea Grant have just released a short new brochure on what climate change could mean to your community, and what steps your community can take to prepare for it. In addition to a brief overview of current expectations for future climates, it provides specific suggestions for the following areas:
- Coastal recreation and commerce
- Coastal environment
- Community well-being
- Health and agriculture
We’ve added it to our Sources for Outreach Material page, and you can download a copy of Climate Change in Rhode Island: What’s Happening Now & What You Can Do here (PDF).
