    The Location
Along with beautiful beaches, St. Petersburg attracts visitors with the Salvador Dali Museum, Fort De Soto Park, and waterfront park system!

The city, which glimmers between the Gulf of Mexico and Tampa Bay, is known for its warm weather and delightful breezes. Clearly a cultural center and family favorite, St. Petersburg offers an array of interactive, art, science and natural attractions to spark your group’s curiosity, while its beaches – some of America’s best – offer major fun in the sun. Don’t miss the downtown strip of park-side cafes and other establishments. And, oh, by the way, Central Florida’s theme parks are just a short drive away.

    Climate Education Workshop

The CoP meeting will be preceded by a Climate Education Workshop, May 17-18 at the Sirata. This workshop will offer professional development for informal and formal educators who wish to increase their climate science knowledge, learn about regional climate impacts, and share climate education resources. This workshop is being offered by the NOAA Climate Stewards Program in partnership with the Climate Community of Practice.
