    Dear Colleagues:
On behalf of The Coastal Areas Climate Change Education Partnership (CACCE), we invite you to submit a topic for a workshop and/or poster session to participate in the upcoming Climate Change Symposium and Showcase for educators on Nov.7 in Tampa, FL.
Funded by a grant from the National Science Foundation, The CACCE Symposium and Showcase will bring together hundreds of educators and secondary school teachers working in science institutions from the region to facilitate discussions about innovative educational practices on climate change science, social impacts and adaptation in our communities.
Our keynote speaker Joe Levine, science educator and textbook author, will share his insight and knowledge regarding teaching, learning and preparing for the future. Levine has coauthored widely acclaimed biology textbooks for high school and college, and is known for his outreach efforts to improve public understanding of science through the media and exhibits at informal science institutions. You can read about Joe Levine at http://www.millerandlevine.com/
    Call for workshops and posters.
Your organization can participate in the Symposium and Showcase by sharing information about your climate change education activities in a poster session and/or by presenting a workshop.
Click here to access the online registration form http://bit.ly/CACCESymposiumShowcaseRegistration to submit the name of your presenter(s), organization and a short description (100 words for the poster, 250 for the workshop) of your organization and its climate change education activities. This information will be listed in the program and on the CACCE website.
Please note that there is limited time/space for the workshops, so we may not be able to accommodate all proposals.
Deadline for submission is October 7. More details will be forthcoming on the CACCE website, but please contact us if you have questions. We look forward to hearing from you!
