active 4 years agoThe towns of Scituate, Marshfield and Duxbury have partnered with the Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC) to study general changes in coastal hazard impacts that could occur due to climate change, in particular the impacts from sea level rise and a change in storm intensity and frequency. The project is exploring current and potential future coastal vulnerabilities, identifying a range of possible adaptation options and gathering information about resources that could support local actions and strategies. The Massachusetts Office of Coastal Zone Management (CZM) is assisting with this effort.
